A.Key terms with definitions

1. Google Ad Sense- Is a program used for the web 2.0 that allows people with a website to sell advertising space on their website of other people ads related to their website choosing by Google. 2. Evite- Is a social planning website for creating, sending and managing online invitations which is used fro the web 1.0. It is a free website. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/evite

3. Flickr- Is an image and video hosting website, website service suite, and online community platform where users share personal photos, blogs, and photos can be tagged and browed. This website is used for web 2.0. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/flickr

4. Akami- A company that develops software for web content and application delivery and it’s a Hawaiian word meaning smart or intelligent. This is used for web 1.0. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/akami

5. Mp3.com- A resource site fro news and information about mps such as questions, answers, hardware, software links to related sites and download music files. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP3.com

6. Google Suggest- It is a feature tool on Google when a user types into the search box it guesses what you’re typing and offer suggestion of what you’re typing a second of time. http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/12/10/1554203&tid=217

7. Google Maps- It is a free web mapping service application and technology provided by Google. It offers street maps, a route planner for traveling by foot, bicycle, car, or public transport and an urban business locator for a lot of countries. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Maps

8. B. Short explanation of research process

The way I research is that I go to the yahoo website and type in what I'm searching for in the search engine and from the search engine it creates a list of links of website to choose from. From the list of links I look through them and click on the links that has the best research information.
